Poetry Nap Rare Weekend Series: Chapter Three, The Secret of Forgotten Stars

  • Torn Page 435 W 22nd St New York, New York (map)

With a run of sold out January shows for our NYC debut and a recommendation from the New York Times, Poetry Nap returns March 7-9 for a rare weekend series of all four of our Chapters @ TORN PAGE, the historic home of Rip Torn and Geraldine Page in Chelsea, NYC! Only 20 tix for each performance.

Slip off your shoes, lie down, relax, and float away to poetry and music of the masters woven into extraordinary, witty and immersive tales guided by Lady and Lord Dosis.

BYOBedding: bring your own camping/yoga mat, blanket, and pillow to lie down most comfortably. Also pjs and robes are welcome if you so desire.

Since September 2017, Lady & Lord Dosis have written and performed four Poetry Nap Chapters, four independent adventures with different poetry and musical accompaniment.

Each Poetry Nap is a stand alone, self-contained voyage; no need to experience the Chapters in any particular order to absolutely enjoy yourself.

While immersed in a fanciful voyage with melodic magnificence, indulge in the treasured words of Pablo Neruda, Joy Harjo, Octavio Paz, James Broughton, Adrian Arias, Michael McClure, Mary Oliver, e e cummings, Gary Snyder, and Uncle Walt Whitman to name but a few.

And you can go to sleep if you'd like. That's ok. It's welcome. If you are napping loudly, that's ok, too; we may ask your neighbor to gently give you a kindly nudge.

Visit http://poetrynap.com/#tickets to snag your tickets quickly as there are limited spots for each night.
